This item is Brand New in its sealed package. You have two choices; a Small Wooden Birdhouse or Wooden Bird Feeder. Easy to assemble for ages 5+
I have sold small wooden model kits similar to these for years and they have always been well received items for parents and children. The wooden kits come complete with illustrated instructions, all pre-cut wooden pieces, glue and a string with metal attachment for hanging up your finished product. The finished Birdhouse is approx. 3 1/2" tall x 3" wide x 3" deep and the finished Bird Feeder is approx. 5" tall x 3" square. This a great project for a small child and parent or grand parent to sit down and be able to complete in a short evening or after school. Also, this would make an excellent school project for children to make at school and then take home to their parent as a gift.
Model kits like this can make great bonding experiences with your children. My 27 year old son and I have always built things together like this and our bond is unbreakable. Starting like you probably did with your child by using simple building blocks as an infant. We then progressed into building things with Lincoln Logs, K-nex, Lego, erector sets and plastic car models. Even now we still work jigsaw puzzles together and work on other projects together. Life is full of learning and bonding opportunities with your children.
